How is LED electricity saving calculated?
The calculator subtracts proposed annual LED consumption from existing annual consumption, then multiplies the saved kilowatt-hours by your electricity tariff.
What does one electricity unit mean?
One electricity unit is one kilowatt-hour, or kWh.
Is the result the same as my final electricity bill?
No. It is an estimate based on the values entered. Tariff slabs, fixed charges, taxes, operating patterns and other equipment affect the final bill.
Should I choose an LED only by lower wattage?
No. Confirm lumen output, beam distribution, colour temperature, fitting, driver quality, protection rating and suitability for the space.
